Pakistan Solar Project Trackers

Beginning of September, Harappa Project construction – first private solar power plant with sun tracking system in Pakistan, has been completed.

Optimum Tracker was selected by Harappa Solar who is one of the first movers in the grid-connected solar segment in Pakistan, to provide trackers for this 18MW power plant. The project is located in the eastern region and enjoy a great sunlight.

The project was designed to be a state of the art solar facility with single axis tracking technology. The use of tracking is expected to increase annual yield by 11% compared to fixed tilt structure. The Wireless system developed by Optimum Tracker to control remotely the trackers, has been installed on the power plant. Each tracker is self-powered and makes the system totally cable-free. Avoiding power shortages, and connector deterioration, it is a tremendous economic gain on the communication and auxiliary wires.

Début Septembre a pris fin la construction du projet Harappa, première centrale solaire privée avec système de tracker du Pakistan.

Optimum Tracker a été sélectionné par Harappa Solar, un des pionniers du solaire sur réseau au Pakistan, pour équiper cette centrale de 18MW, située à l’est du pays et qui bénéficie d’un ensoleillement optimal.

Ce projet a été développé pour être à la pointe du progrès en terme de tracker à un axe. L’utilisation de tracker devrait ainsi augmenter de 11% chaque année comparée à celle des structures fixes. Le système Wireless développé par Optimum Tracker pour controler les trackers à distance a également été installé sur la centrale. Chaque tracker est autonome et peut fonctionner sans aucun câble d’alimentation. En permettant d’éviter les coupures de courant et la détérioration des fils, il s’agit là d’un énorme gain économique sur le cout des câbles de communication.
